Job Information:
Broadcom is developing solutions supporting the next generation of 3G and 4G high-speed mobile technologies. Broadcom offers a family of HSDPA, WCDMA, EDGE, GPRS and GSM baseband processors for use in cellular handsets, PC cards and other wireless-enabled consumer electronics.

This is an engineering position in the Mobile Communications Software group at Broadcom. As part of SW platform team in the Mobile Platform Solution business unit, you will be involved in the growing market of mobile technology and consumer endpoints.

The position requires a strong Linux background, preferably with Android experience. You will work on China Reference Design platform with other teams; also directly work with the customers, support their project to production.

Job Requirements:
1. Typically requires a BS in CE/EE with 8+ years of related experience, or MS in CE/EE with 5 years of related experience to include at 4+ years of experience in the design and development of applications on handheld or electronic consumer products.
2. Android RIL development/support experience is mandatory, at least preficient in one of the fields: Call Process, SIM/PBK, SS/STK, Messaging, Data Connection, etc.
3. Experience with Android and/or Linux OS.
4. Experience with Linux kernel, device driver or Android Framework development.
5. Excellent working knowledge of C/C++, Java in embedded processor environment.
6. Strong experience debugging with ARM debug tools such as JTAG/ETM.
7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
9. Strong work ethic.

10.Willing to travel (10%-25%)
