Create and analyze finite element models for new product design. The FEA should incorporate all the required aspects of the manufactured part and end use environment. This includes but is not limited to geometry, manufacturing, material, process, and assembly concers.

1. Provide application engineering support to Product Engineering teams through the use of existing advanced CAE tools to analyze and improve product designs to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

2. Communicate results in a timely and concise manner. May require accompanying the Product/Launch Engineer to the customer for design proposals and follow-up meetings.

3. Utilize, develop, and implement design standards through the use of Engineering tools that will optimize the design cycle for core product lines. Provide training in PC spredsheets, CAE, design principles, etc. to the Product Engineering team and other departments as required..

4. Develop, implement, train, and maintain new CAE tools which provide the ability to improve and/or shorten the design cycle for core product lines.

5. Assist CAD with models/prints as needed.

6. Ensures all works are carried out in good conditions respecting EHS procedures, company standards and applicable norms & legislation.
