Responsibilities
- Work in multi-disciplinary teams, taking new technologies from the UK development department to the Asian assembly line of the company or its customers.
- Develop manufacturing processes and parameters
- Implement new processes with our manufacturing partners
- Cast PU and EVA polymers in suppliers or customer factories
- Implement new products and materials in production and contributing to the practical feedback of designs in production to assist design
- Support appropriate quality control processes for new products and materials
- Work with suppliers to reduce cost and prove lower cost alternatives
- Deliver products and projects on time and to performance requirements whilst managing within regulatory and supply constraints
- Update the UK and Asian teams on progress, issues and corrective action plans.
- Work with local Asian supervision but also with a technical material and design team in UK initial task assignments/objectives to completion of the project
- Provide Asian Technical Project Management of NPD projects including project timelines, quality
- Work with suppliers to improve the production efficiency, process .

Requirements:
- Bachelor' degree in polymer material
- Knowledge of the EVA foam processes and material for the footwear industry
- Knowledge of pricing of raw materials used in footwear industry and finished goods
- Knowledge of the testing procedures in footwear and impact protection industry
- Understanding of quality control procedures in footwear and impact protection industry
