职位描述
? Lead and manage material and production control team
? Create department vision for growth and continuous improvement – Strategic planning.
? Set goals, objectives and metrics for the departments. Leverage best practices and develop sustainable process accordingly. – Tactical Planning
? Plans and implements activities and processes for the improvement of material delivery, labor productivity, inventory and quality control of production materials.
? Lead and support Pentair Lean initiatives for improvement relating to on-time shipments, quality processes, material control, Kanban, production planning, and warehouse management.
? Create standard work for layer audits of processes to ensure sustainability of desire results. Implement effective Root Cause Countermeasures (RCCM) through proper data analysis for missed targets.
? Create a Safe Working Environment
? Enforce compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
? Manage Quality Flow of Data and Information
? Plan for Every Part (PFEP) – Create, implement and sustain.
? Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning (SIOP) – Ensure forecast and planning are effective in meeting sales target along with the right amount of inventory levels to meet production schedule and cash flow.
? Ensure Kanban process sustainability through discipline and accountability.
? Meet Service to Customer’s Lead Time Expectation
? Manage production schedule to ensure delivery schedule meets customer expectation.
? Ensure product availability is aligned with forecast/production plan.
? Manage department budget (Cost and Cash)
? Prepare, forecast, and manage annual department budget to meet plant goals and objectives.
? Develop and execute material flow strategy for year over year (YOY) improvement in labor cost.
? Effective utilization of PFEP data to rightly size material supermarket stores to meet customers demand and maximize inventory turns.
? Management of Excess and Obsolescence Inventory to ideal state of Zero.
? Develop Talent
? Set achievable yet stretch annual employee performance targets.
? Complete and deliver fair, accurate and meaningful employee performance reviews.
? Responsible for department win right culture and adherence to company policies and procedures. Award and discipline as appropriate.
? Develop talent via training and career path discussions. Find opportunities to grow talent within department.
? Develop team members to continue their personal growth in lean knowledge and skill.
? Working knowledge of MRP/ERP system operation, inventory control management, and international transport based supply chain solutions gained in either freight forwarding related or international orientated role.
? 10 plus years of related experience within a large seasonal manufacturing business.
? 5 plus years in leading and managing people through a change/rapid growth process.
? Experience of working with production planning, purchasing/commercial negotiations,
? Implementing new processes, procedures and responsibilities, extraction and analysis of data from MRP/ERP system.
? Training and experience in Toyota Production System (TPS) or equivalent a plus
