Position: Color and Trim Designer -Shanghai
Client Summary:
Our client is a brand new OEM, set-up as an independent joint venture in 2007. It has an experienced, international leadership team, and a clear strategy for its development and growth. With this solid foundation, they aim at creating a distinctive new joint venture in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
- Create color and trim proposals / image boards / trends videos / fabric proposals.
- Research on interior colors and textures / exterior body paints-colors / general color-strategy.
- Work in a competitive team environment.
- Manage projects and liaise with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Two to six years experience working for a major OEM in color and trim.
- Knowledge and experience in grain, upholstery, leathers, fabrics, interior & body colors.
- Keen awareness of colors & trims style, trends.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design or related design fields.
- The ideal candidate is passionate about design with a good understanding of the realities of automotive design in China.
- Good command of Photoshop - Illustrator - Patchwork.
- Fluent in English required. Mandarin and German will be a plus.
