This job function provides the primary technical interface to the customer for all Zilog products including S3, Z8Encore, Z51, ZNEO, eZ80 and legacy devices. It is also expected that opportunities for all IXYS products (World of IXYS) are sought out. This person is responsible for generating design wins, technical training for customers and the sales force, reporting opportunity status, providing ideas for application notes, and providing market and customer feedback to aid with future product planning and development. Travel within Asia is required and infrequent travel to the US may also be required.

The main objective of this job is to generate revenue from design wins.
? Engineering seminars complete with “hands on” tool demos
? Engineering support of customer application using ZiLOG components
? Sales force training
? Personal training and upgrading of technical knowledge
? Assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
? High in “face to face” and overall interaction with customer engineers, manufacturing and materials managers.
? Good interaction and positive relationship with distribution partners.
High interaction with internal technical groups.

? Responding to customers’ technical request and enquiries.
? Developing programs to increase product exposure and build customer base.
