Candidate will play a key role in provisioning, and
supporting a multi-function, multi-platform, multi-tier, mission-critical
Microsoft .NET 2.0/3.5/4.0 environment. Candidate must have experience in large
scale mainstream IIS 6/7.5 administration on Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2 as
well as a solid understanding of .NET application architecture. Candidate will
split time between front-line support, problem determination, and
infrastructure engineering (including on-call, off-hours, and weekend support)
as dictated by shifting priorities and server service levels. Candidate
should also have experience administering Visual SourceSafe, Team Foundation
Server and Subversion source-code repositories.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities of the IIS Systems Administrator:

·
Design,
install, configure, update, administer, monitor, and tune IIS infrastructure on
Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2

·
Provide
.NET and classic ASP application deployment, and troubleshooting support for
development groups

·
Problem
determination using log files and failed transaction tracing analysis

·
Design,
implement, and refine batch and PowerShell scripts in support of .NET
application deployment and supporting resources

·
Provide
scheduled off-hours and on-call support for the above

·
Administer
and maintain source-code repositories in Visual SourceSafe, Team Foundation
Server and Subversion

Technical Experience Senior IIS Systems Administrator:

·
5+ years of
total experience in multiple domains and proven systems analyst experience

·
2+ years
large scale mainstream IIS installation configuration and problem resolution on
Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2

·
Experience
with PowerShell scripting in support of the above

·
Thorough
knowledge of .NET application packaging and deployment

·
Experience
with Microsoft AppFabric environments preferred

·
Experience
with Wily Introscope supporting and maintaining a large clustered MOM setup
