职位描述
Purpose:
Responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts to achieve significant cost savings each year. Lead the maintenance
team to ensure proactive and preventive maintenance of all equipment and processes. Develop our associates to perform more
of the required maintenance and manage contractors when specialized skills or additional people are required. Key areas
of responsibility: safety and environmental compliance, energy utilization, production yield/waste, production cycle time, and
associate and equipment utilization. Collaborate with Local and Global Teams.
Principal Responsibilities:
? Uphold DDW’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, Values and Beliefs
Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Support for Plant, Property and Equipment
? Work with Manufacturing Team and maintenance associates (direct reports) to set priorities and safely execute
maintenance work to minimize downtime, assure quality work, manage costs to plan, and obey all Good Manufacturing
Practices.
? Establish a strong predictive maintenance program and upgrade the existing preventive maintenance program to
reduce unplanned downtime and improve reliability.
? Manages any statutory inspections, liaisons with government agencies and insurance companies.
Project Management, including Capital Projects
? Design and supervise construction for new equipment installations to achieve project objectives.
Lead the Continuous Improvement Program for maintenance, energy utilization, and cost savings.
Manage outside contractors to achieve on time, on budget and expected results for projects.
Review requirements, plan and update the approved contractor list annually
Plant Management Support
? As a member of the manufacturing management team, collaborate to ensure the ongoing daily operations are
successful, including supporting training, process documentation, data entry, etc.
? Serve as back up for Plant Manager, cross train with other members of manufacturing management team to ensure a broad understanding and capability to provide cover and back up for any member of the team.
? Supports/Leads Regulatory compliance (Safety and Environmental) with all associates, including implementation
and maintenance of Environmental, Health, & Safety Management Systems.
? Develop Maintenance and Capital Budgets and provide ownership for managing priorities and implementation
efficiency to control spending.

Skill Requirements:
? Minimum of a Bachelor degree (technical/engineering) and 7 - 10 years of manufacturing experience; preferably some
? management experience.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills required in Chinese and English.
? Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively; demonstrated strong judgment in past decisions.
? Experience with process manufacturing equipment including: boilers, pressure vessels, pumps, filters heat exchangers,
? and automated control systems.
? Project management skills required including the ability to develop and update CAD drawings.
? Demonstrated team player; willingness to put team’s goals ahead of personal goals.
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with pressured deadlines.
? Strong quantitative skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to think critically.
? Self-directed with the ability to manage associates, work independently and contribute to plant management team.
Physical Demands:
. Be available on call as required to support plant operations, maintenance, and capital improvement jobs.
Daily hours may fluctuate as production needs warrant.
. Travel required to: support capital projects, inspect material suppliers, global engineering meetings once per year,
and occasional travel to other DDW facilities.
