Responsibility:

? Participate in the development of global, harmonized SOPs and specific quality work instruction for study design and programming activities;

? Complete assigned work according to Covance SOPs, Work Instructions, and project specific guidelines in accordance with Good Clinical Practices;

? Meet with data manager, SAS programmer and biostatistician on assigned projects to discuss contractual obligations and timelines;

? Under supervision, prepare and /or review draft and final annotated data capture instruments and Physical Data Models for assigned projects utilizing Covance standard or client specifications to ensure quality and consistency. Perform quality control procedures for database development under supervision;

? Participate in the ongoing review of the processes used by the Study Design and Programming Group to ensure adaptation of best practices;

? Prioritize personal workload to meet specified completion dates and perform work with limited supervision and direction;

? Perform all activities related to study build and design with supervision;

? Maintain study databases for assigned projects;

? Conduct Quality Control of study design for assigned projects;

? Support implementation of project auto encoding tools;

? Define standard coding dictionaries for assigned projects;

? Program edit checks in Medidata Rave or InForm;

? Perform PDF exports of images for archiving or client need;

? Advise management of changes in scope of projects to enable the timely development of change orders;

? Implement processes as they are refined or as new processes are developed and initiate and participate in the ongoing review of the processes to ensure they are continually improved;

? Perform all work with knowledge of regulations pertaining to computerized systems to projects to ensure compliance.

Requirement:

? University/college degree (life science, computer science, programming, pharmacy or related subject preferred), or certification in a related profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, computer science, medical or laboratory technology);

? Knowledge of drug development process and knowledge of the Oracle Clinical Data Management System;

? Program procedures or function with one of the following languages: of C#, Java, SQL, SQL-Plus, PL/SQL, SAS.

Good understanding of relational databases such as SQL server or Oracle;

? Knowledge of InForm Central Designer (or Architect), Rave Architect 5.6.x;

? Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
