(1) Job Summary
Covance is looking for a Temp Senior Recruiter to drive recruitment for China
region. You will be responsible for multiple business units and will serve as the
key liaison with business units and the recruitment function. You will lead projects
of significant scope, interact with Senior Management, both HR and the Line, in a
strategic as well as tactical manner.
The contract length will be 7 month
(2) Job Duties and Responsibilities
? Facilitates and drives recruiting process with hiring manager (sourcing,
interviewing and selection) for a wide range of positions, including senior level
positions.
? Develops innovative sourcing solutions. Evaluates current and new sourcing
opportunities. Develops and maintains an effective recruiting network (e.g., job
fairs, conferences or meeting attendance, trade journal use, interactive/online
networking, direct sourcing and relationships with agencies and vendors).
? Consults/collaborates with business units to create, implement and lead recruiting
plans and strategies. Maintains open communication with managers and business
unit HR in determining recruiting needs.
? Initiates, leads and implements projects of significant scope and impact to the
recruiting function.
? Key contact for business units' recruiting support. Communicates recruiting
initiatives to business unit HR, employees and management at all levels. This
may include public speaking.
? Trains and orientates supervisors and employees with respect to recruiting
procedures, effective interviewing skills, and applicable laws.
? Maintains legally required files for job openings and candidate selection.
Produces requested information for monthly reports as needed. Ensures metrics
are achieved within Service Level
