PROFILE
LMS Engineering Services is looking for senior project engineers or project leaders in order to support the ever growing demand of Automotive, Aerospace and other Mechanical Industries for first class engineering solutions in China.
Your job will include the following activities and responsibilities
? Supervise and manage complex engineering projects and vehicle development projects in the field of Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH), Durability or Ride & Handling
? Execute and manage tasks and complete projects according to the project plan, customer expectations and budget (including project planning - adaptation of the plan according to project requirements - reporting & presentations at customers)
? Perform tests and analyses in the field of NVH, Durability or Ride & Handling on-site at our customers in China and our offices in Beijing and Shanghai
? Work with the latest LMS software (e.g. LMS Test.Lab, LMS Virtual.Lab) and test systems (e.g. LMS Scadas) and to apply state-of-the-art LMS technologies and solutions within our Engineering projects
? Work together with our multi-national project teams of test and CAE experts from different disciplines (such as NVH, Durability, Ride & Handling, Crash)
? Support the communication between our customers and the LMS offices in China, Europe and the US
? Support our business development activities in China
The location of the work will be at the LMS China office in Beijing and on-site at the customer sites. The job requires a substantial amount of traveling within China and Europe (e.g. for training).
Desired profile
? Educational Level:
- PhD or Master degree in Vehicle Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with specialization in NVH, Structural Dynamics, Durability or Vehicle Dynamics
? Professional Experience:
- Relevant test experience in automotive industry or aerospace industry in the respective fields
- Participation in large development projects in the role of lead engineer or project manager
? The following technical competencies would be an asset
- Experience with multi-channel test sytems (ideally LMS Scadas)
- Experience with test software (ideally LMS Test.Lab or CADA-X)
? Specific personal competencies:
- Strong drive for results & continuous learning
- Customer-oriented mind-set and way of working
- Able to take responsibilities and to work independently
- Initiative taking
- Good team player
- Excellent communication skills towards customers and colleagues
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within China and to Europe
? Languages:
- Good command of English in speaking, writing and reading
