Our client is Famous European Company in electrical products for buildings, infrastructure projects and industry. To cope with the fast growing steps, on behalf of our client, Collars Consultants is looking for qualified candidates with high motivation to join the winning team:
Position: Sales Engineer
Report to: International Account Director (Expatriate)
Location: Chengdu
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
2. Understand customer requirements and recommend products, services and solutions that best satisfies the customer
3. Work together with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
4. Manage and grow supplier relationships
5. Support our customers with technical knowledge, training and solutions
6. Work together with our sales staff to provide quality service to our customers
7. Work together with sourcing team for equivalence and localization of products
8. Be able to go on site for technical support, delivery issues or small audits
9. Helping customers solve issues in regards to our products
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Background in electrical engineering – either in a sales or technical role.
2. Good technical and analytical skills
3. Excellent understanding of electrical components – power distribution, cables, industrial control and automation (large scope of products and applications)
4. Able to go on site support and talk to engineering people.
5. Out-going personality – able to establish good and open relationship with customers and co-workers
6. Curious and always be updated on new electrical technology / products
7. Good command of English – oral and written (CET 6 level)
Successful candidates will be offered long-term development programs and career development plans, which allow them to grow into more senior positions.
