Channel Development Manager, Retail Banking-Guangzhou

Report to: Director of SPB Client Proposition
Channel Development - Retail Banking and Wealth Management, ANZ China
Responsibilities:
-Develop clear call and visit plan to increase the "COI" list; maintain effective relationship with givernment consulates, immigration departments and education channels.
-Lead, facilitate, organize at least one branch-based marketing event per week. The measurement of success is based on 1) clear objective, plan, target and timely implementation of schedule; 2) attendance, conversion and reporting on the success of these events.
-Coordinate relevant SPB marketing and communication plans for agreed initiaitives, implement co-jointly with ANZ China Public Relations and Marketing Team.
-Building collaborative relationships between External and Internal Business Units.
-Developing business activities which are cohesive with every city theme and its business environment.
-Ensure China regulatory requirements are met and adherence to internal risk & compliance frameworks
-To establish and maintain high quality and professional relationship with "Centres of Influence" (COI) - internal departments, channels and/or communities with resources that will lead to successful referral of quality prospect leads for meeting the financial target.
-Key relationship person with government consulates, immigration departments and education channels to promote the success of SPB, 1+1, FTS, Migrant banking services
-To organise and/or participate various business activities and seminars to promote SPB client acquisition and loyalty
-Responsible for meeting the city's total growth target for Qualified Signature Priority Banking (SPB) clients assigned by Head Office.
-Responsible for meeting the city's total net Asset Under Administration (AUA) target assigned by Head Office
Requirements
-Excellent relationship management, networking, communication and interpersonal skills
-Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present effectively to individuals as well as large audiences
-Proven experience in sales, negotiation, marketing and business development field
-Excellent knowledge and ability to implement strategic vision, processes and procedures and comply with objectives as required
-Demonstrated strong customer service focus and ethic as well as ability to remain results focused in a fast changing environment
-Ability to read, write, listen and speak English and Mandarin. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, for example, business, commerce, accounting, marketing or appropriate business related experience
