Overall Role Purpose:
To design cost-effective, practical and efficient logistics solutions to meet customer expectations and company’s requirements.
As a process owner to prepare Standard Operation Process and Work Instruction for all newly won projects and keep improving existing SOP and WI as well
Job Description:
1. Facilitate and interpret a detailed understanding of customers’ requirements on supply chain
2. Undertake complex data analysis using appropriate software tools
3. RFQ responding for critical and strategic customers and projects
4. Act as solution design leader in customers’ meeting to express DSC overall solution capabilities if required
5. Facilitate customer’s product flow by identifying most suitable and efficient business model
6. Provide re-engineering capabilities to meet customers’ requirement for operation optimization
7. Provide coaching and mentor BDMs for solution concept enrichment and related skills enhancement
8. Prepare presentation/proposal materials on solutions design part for critical/strategiccustomers,together with BDM
9.Achieve mutual agreement on working processes and responsible to implement and audit
10.Warehouse facility & equipment inspection, support site to solve related problem
11.Support commercial and BD team to get and clarify the cost of equipment and renovation
12.Support project implementation team to supervise the quality of equipment installment and renovation, control the progress schedule and endorse on the final delivery result
13. Support operation team for some engineering requirement of existing project on cost collection, layout design, quotation, physical implementation schedule control and ensure the final delivery quality
14. Support commercial team for some existing project scope & size extension on basic solution & layout design, cost & quotation calculation
Job Requirement:
1. Bachelor degree in Business or Science or equivalent
2. At least 3 years experience in supply chain business model analysis, warehouse facility design and costing/budget evaluation, either Logistics industry experience or manufacturing industry engineering experience.
3. Skillful use Auto CAD and other appropriate complex data analysis software tools
4. Excellent communication skills - spoken and written
5. Excellent analytical and organizational skills
6. Excellent Microsoft Office applications
7. Excellent team working spirit
