BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – UL Information & Insights (I&I)

JOB FUNCTION:

Manages and coordinates with UL’s Information & Insights (I&I) business customers. Works on strategies with Industry leads to generate revenue growth and achieve bookings goals through creation of new services as well as prospecting for new customers. Assists industry leadership in the development of account strategies, goals, and plans with a focus on driving a foundation for industry growth for UL. Focuses on customer satisfaction, account growth and expansion of UL I&I services provided. Works with customers to understand the emerging needs of the organization. Works with other business development team members to target opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manages and coordinates with UL’s Information & Insights customers industries and opportunities.

2. Works with business leads and other sales personnel to generate revenue growth, and achieve booking goals.

3. Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues, and focuses on sustaining customer satisfaction and loyalty by maintaining a relationship with the customer.

4. Develops and coordinates executive presentations, debriefings, and proposals.

5. Develops comprehensive account plans and develops and manages relationships with customers to grow accounts and expand services provided.

6. Develops products sales by researching, and resolving complex problems for key and/or high value customers.

7. Develop ideas for new services and products, and bring them to market through creation of business plans, go to market plans, and coordinating with the operations team for delivery of the services.

8. Performs other duties as directed.
