职位描述

Job Summary:

To build strong, collaborative relationships and communications channels between Isobar China and its global network, the Communication Manager works closely with local and regional teams to protect and promote the Isobar brands throughout the world, ensuring consistency of messaging, in-line with the global approach. As well as developing and driving scalable communications and marketing initiatives for Isobar China group and the wider regional and global network, to achieve positive recognition of the agency and support overall new business objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities

(1) Centralised branding and communication

·Manage and provide for all visual brand identity needs and marketing material

·Contents and regular update of China site

·Manage global intranet - a sharing environment with the purpose of accelerating learning and showcasing work/case histories, newsletters, blogs

·Plan and active management of appropriate network wide communication programme - define programme and manage deliverables

·Identify and manage appropriate “vertical communities” within the network, and ensure effective sharing and contemporary learning in those communities

·Act as brand ambassador to ensure brand message and identity are accurately and consistently reflected across touch points to reinforce overall brand positioning


(2) External Reputation Building

·Establish contact strategy and relations with key journalists and industry influences in China

·Monitor and Circulate regional and global media coverage news

·Create compelling and relevant content (news, stories, case studies, videos, white papers, thought pieces, best practice, etc.) to engage our target audiences (clients, peers, trade press, colleagues and talent), and that can be shared and used by across Isobar’s global network

·Identify key industry events (attending and speaking), Identify awards programmes around world (capture, direct entries and record success, share learning and monitor competitors)

·Convert internally created work into external marketing opportunities to enhance brand reputation

·Maintain Isobar’s social presence (Weibo, WeiXin)


(3) Central Knowledge Management

·Maintain information on headcount, levels, trends, key executives, disciplines and operating structures of Isobar network agencies

·Establish and maintain record of service provision by markets of key international clients

·Accurate and up to date ‘real time’ knowledge of new business wins/losses

·Maintain key competitor intelligence

·Design, maintain, stimulate vertical communities within Isobar by client sector and by practice discipline

·Support regional new business team with RFP content preparation that are related to central knowledge management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·An active communicator that has strong communication skills in visual, oral, and written forms

  • Good project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously and independently

·Good listening capabilities and good at read-between-the-lines especially for non native English speakers

·Has ability to identify opportunities to “marketing” Isobar better and proactively recommend it to global management

·Diligent and passionate about brand related details. Has an understanding of basic brand building principles and theory

·Has experience in managing internet communities, social networks, and different interactive widgets


Credentials and Experience

  • Experience in defining and implementing marketing strategies and creating marketing assets and compelling content for the advertising community
  • Experience in working within a global organization, working across regions to deliver programs of activity across multiple markets.
  • Experience influencing and building key relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Have the ability to think strategically, see bigger picture, yet still be hands-on

·University degree (min. Bachelor; ideally PR, Marketing, Communication or related field)

·5+ years working experience of in fast-paced Western or multi-national corporation

·Working experience with 4A agencies, or digital agencies is a plus


Special Requirements

·Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overseas travel
