-For Siemens Ltd China we are looking for a Contract Manager (m/f) in Shanghai for the standard and long term service contracts in China and Asia at the earliest opportunity.

We support our customers during the complete life time of their power plants and its components which includes: grid analyses, calculation, project management, commissioning and service contracts. -As a Contract Manager you are part of the legal department of Siemens, advising both the operating businesses and the corporate units of Siemens globally on all legal matters. Our international team, consisting of more than 600 lawyers, considers itself a trusted partner of its respective management and supports them in achieving business targets as well as developing and implementing legal strategies on behalf of the company.

What are my responsibilities?
-Preparation and drafting of contract terms
-Risk assessment for contract terms as well as preparation of documents for the internal risk approval processes
-Securing the adherence of the internal approval processes especially through the participation on risk assessment meetings and the description of the risks for different management levels
-Negotiation of contract terms with customers in China in cooperation with departments such as insurance, legal, tax and commercial
-Regular maintenance, improvement and adaption of model contracts and general terms and conditions

What do I need to qualify for this job?
-University degree in law or business law, or business/commercial education with several years of professional experience of projects within a large organisation
-Very good knowledge of Russian and international contract law
-Specific understanding of the relationship between commercial and technical issues
-Fluent spoken and written English
-Very good negotiation and social skills
-Ability to analyse, goal orientation and team-working
-3-5 years of professional experience
-Diverse cultural experiences would be advantageous
-Willingness to travel regularly domestically and abroad
