Job Title: DTV/STB Software (Audio) Development Engineer
Department: Video

Description:
1. You will be a team member of senior engineers working directly with end customers to build production digital TV/STB systems.
2. You will be the communication window between customers and baseline development teams in Shanghai and Santa Clara;
3. You will be the developers of audio Dolby/DTS/AAC decoders, SRS, Equalizer and amplifier drivers for DTV/STB software systems.
4. You will work with your staff and company customers to ensure that customer requirements are well defined.
5. You will be engaged in the design of products to meet customer requirements;
6. You will be expected to travel to customer sites in China as well as some international travels to USA, ASIA etc.

Qualification:
The candidates meet multiple items as below will be preferred:
1. A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science;
2. Good written and oral communications skills in English and Chinese ;
3. 3+ years experience of embedded software programming with C/C++ ;
4. Knowledgeable of audio decoders such as Dolby, DTS, AAC;
5. Knowledgeable of Dolby/DTS certification is preferred;
6. Knowledgeable of SRS certification;
7. Knowledgeable of HDMI certification;
8. Knowledgeable of audio quality tuning is preferred;
9. Experienced with supporting customers;
10. Direct experience with some of the following:
? Board support drivers (I2C, Ethernet, USB)
? Analog and digital audio drivers
? Embedded operating systems (Linux, WinCE, etc)
? Set top box middleware environments (PowerTV, OpenTV, MSTV, DirectTV etc)
　? Knowledgeable of TV input/output sources like HDMI, VGA, YPbPr, CVBS, SCART etc
11.Knowledgeable of ATSC/DVB and PAL/NTSC
12.Knowledgeable of Android based application development and Android framework;
13.Experienced in HDTV and STB is preferred;
