Application engineer has the responsibility to support customers with RF transceivers for their designs. The candidate should have experience in an application engineering position working with customers.

Work activities:
? Support customer products & applications using phone, email and onsite
? RF system architecture understanding
? Understanding of standards requirements
? Customer design support from design through production
? Device evaluation, radio hardware design
? Design support activities include schematic design, PCB layout
? Work with RF tools for RF calibration, factory testing, MP readiness
? Troubleshooting and testing, collection of performance data to meet design needs
? Interface with customers and engineering for technical issues, analysis
? Ability to create customer documentation

Additional qualifications include:
? Problem solving and analysis skills
? Experience working with cellular designs, 2G, 3G UMTS, TDSCDMA, LTE
? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to work with customers
? Good Chinese and English speaking, reading, writing
? Willingness to travel

Qualifications :
? Minimum BSEE/MSEE with a minimum experience of 3 years in RF design, applications engineering
? Good understanding of RF systems/hardware in the context of transceivers.
? Familiarity with RF test and analysis tools
? Must have good RF troubleshooting skills, ability to debug/ tune receiver and transmitter performance in a complex multimode Cellular Transceiver IC.
? Must be able to perform trade off analysis in receivers and transmitters between different functional blocks.
? Must be able to work in a team environment.
? Ability to create systems engineering documentation
