BASIC FUNCTION:

Software Qualification and System Test of Car Infotainment Systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The following list of duties describes the primary tasks executed by the Development group. The manager of the group will be called upon to ensure that these tasks get completed.

1. Plan and Organize test for each individual project
2. Plan and build the test environment in the lab and in the test car
3. Develop and review test cases according to the Product Specification
4. Qualify the target product by running all test cases and input of test results into Harman Tracking System
5. Track test issues actively by communicating with developers and customers
6. Responsible for Testing and Debugging of 3rd party releases (such as Navigation SW release). Ensure successful Software Integration Qualification and meet product release deadline
7. Ensure the software is downloaded and configured correctly in the respective target. Follow closely each test case scripts, make necessary trace during the test and prepare detailed debugging report in English with accurate supporting trace files and appropriate failure analysis
8. Be creative, logical and capable in formulating and implementing strategies for different test situations
9. Have high technical competence and be able to provide in-depth technical assistance during the lab and road tests
10. Be willing and flexible to travel to perform road tests
11. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor

OTHER DUTIES:
1. Completes other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
BSEE minimum requirement , Advanced Engineering degree preferred

Experience
2+ years in Automotive Industry or other QS9000 compliant work experience desired

Working Knowledge
Basic knowhow in electronic designs is essential
Basic knowledge in software development and debugging using micro-processors and DSP is recommended
Experience in GPS devices, automobile industry
C-class driving license with driving experience is preferred
High motivation and an excellent communication are required
Ability to work in a team and procedural working method is a precondition
Excellent English language skills
