Procurement Specialist - operation

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inter IKEA is seeking a Procurement Specialist - Operation assisting Corporate Procurement Manager with respect to procurement services.

The position is based in Shanghai and reports to Assistant Operation Procurement Manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assisting Assistant Operation Procurement Manager with respect to the following tasks:

l Work closely with different departments to develop procurement plan

l Standardize IICG China Operation Procurement & related Contract Templates for operation related contracts

l Build up & maintain operation –related vendor pool & black list

l Align with other IICC functions to optimize the procurement process

l Lead whole procurement work flow and ensure that all the tendering processes are carried out according to approved procedures

l Responsible for seeking technical inputs from central functions

l Coordinate with the IICC package leaders for the implement of the commercial part of Procurement Plan according to approved procedures, ensure commercial part can catch up with the agreed tendering schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education and Experience:

l Related Bachelor degree

l At least 2 years’ procurement working experience, the shopping centre working experience will be a plus

B. Specific Knowledge/Skills:

l Thorough knowledge of contracts administration, cost planning, budgeting, alternative procurement methods and tendering procedures

l Honest and innovative, with pleasant and positive personality

l Self--motivated and high sense of responsibility, strong determination to succeed

l Well organized and efficient

l Good interpersonal communication skills

l Good Excel and Powerpoint (PPT) skills

l Good degree of facility with the English language

l Ability to learn and progress
