Job Purpose:

The key focus of this role is to support the Marketing teams’ objectives by managing digital marketing initiatives
that effectively represent and raise awareness of the school. This individual will also support the teams’ writing and events initiatives.

Duties:
- Daily management of e-marketing initiatives and projects;
- Data analysis and market research as required;
- Writing and editing materials for a variety of different media, including the YCIS website, newsletters, local publications, etc.
- Promotional event support tasks including, but not limited to, organizing and training part-time staff,
managing vendors to ensure optimum service delivery, setting up displays and venue, and working
with various school departments to ensure all logistical needs of marketing events are met;
- On occasion, representing the school at various community events within Shanghai;
- Assist Head of Marketing in maintaining a good relationship with business partners as needed;
- Assist Head of Marketing in creating annual marketing plan and strategy, including implementation and
execution;
- Special projects as required.

Skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or English;
- At least 3 years of work experience in marketing or related fields;
- Strong digital marketing skills and experience, including proven experience with analytics tools and a
variety of social media;
- Comfortable analyzing numbers, interpreting results, and reporting findings;
- Excellent writing and editing skills;
- Project management skills, including the ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines at the same
time;
- Detail-oriented, results-orientated, organized, and punctual;
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, and comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment;
- Willing to work some irregular hours and some weekends;
- Native English level writing, ability to converse in Chinese Mandarin a plus.
