职位描述
This role provides leadership and strategy to the global strategic sourcing function for
AP (factory and projects/services). Improving overall competitiveness by
developing robust sourcing strategies and performance results. The role is the supplier
partner to the assigned business unit with responsibility for process definition, deployment,
results, and strategy development/implementation. This role provides oversight of local
purchasing practices in the AP region and delivery of the annual operating plan for
material deflation, indirect savings and working capital improvement. The role includes
leadership of the following functional roles of the Sourcing Organization:
- Direct materials strategic sourcing
- Supplier quality / development
- Direct materials procurement
- Indirect materials strategic sourcing and procurement
- NPI (new product introduction), Supplier transition, Data management
- Acquisition integration
Specific responsibilities include:
- Delivering business results including productivity, working capital improvement, supplier
performance (quality and delivery) and continuity of supply.
- Developing and maintaining effective supplier relationships to support business needs.
- Through the analysis of current spend, processes and practices.
- Development of an overall sourcing strategy for the ECC business unit that supports the
goals of the business unit.
- Supplier consolidation, process standardization, base and variable cost reduction,
transaction cost removal, and process digitization.

- Team with business leaders, ensure appropriate sourcing measures and metrics are in
place and deployed.
- Effectively consolidate direct and indirect suppliers with identified strategic partners.
- Select and manage required suppliers who have the capacity and capability to meet the
material and subcontract needs of the business.
- Define the strategic plan for Sourcing over the 5 year
- Partner with Global Commodity Teams (Direct and Indirect)
- Partner with product management, engineering, R&D and the Integrated Supply Chain
organizations to coordinate and direct the selection of suppliers
