As part of the Epoxy Systems team, this position, under the direction of the Group Leader, exists to provide formulation and testing support to the different technology platforms, especially Composites and Construction. Other laboratory tasks will also be conducted according to the priorities of the team, while ensuring safe lab operation.

With high lab safety awareness and execution, the candidate is expected to:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all testing equipment in lab;
- Prepare epoxy systems formulations following described procedures;
- Provide testing via standardized, published methods. Knowledge about ISO and ASTM will be a plus;
- Provide team and customers with quality data within a specified timeline;
- Understand safety requirements and guidelines to ensure safe lab management and operation, and apply them to laboratory work.

Education/Certification Requirements:
Two year college graduate is preferred. Or Bachelor’s degree in an applied science or technical curriculum, preferably chemistry, polymer science or analytical chemistry is acceptable.
Significant professional experience (3 years or more) in a laboratory will be a plus.
Given the international composition of the global team, fluency in Mandarin language is a must and some English ability (written and spoken) is preferred.
The candidate is expected to be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
