Key Responsibilities:
Manage all technical deliverables associated with SW construction:
Delivery of individual SW features: Design, Coding, & Unit Test (UT)
Integration of multiple features: Integration Test.
Support for product verification activities (consultation and defect resolution support).
Support for product validation activities (consultation and defect resolution support).
Qualifications / Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or other related discipline.
2+ years of experience working in Telecommunications, Enterprise or other related industries.
Proficiency of C, C++, and Object Oriented technologies.
Experience in IP network domain with good knowledge of TCP/IP.
Experience of developing data network products.
Pluses:
Experience with Linux and inter-process communication is preferred.
Experience of developing WLAN products is preferred.
Knowledge of 802.11 protocol suite and WLAN technology is preferred.
CET-6 holder with good spoken English is preferred.
Understanding to QoS, Tunneling, routing and switching technologies is an asset.
Experience in Bootrom, OS layer, driver layer or middleware development is an asset.
Knowledge of RF, Regulatory, OFDM, MIMO is an asset.
Experience with QNX or other embedded operating system is an asset.
Prior work experience in the US or with US based multi-national firms is an asset.
