The Marcom Specialist (Academic) is accountable for the planning, implementation and reporting of key elements of the academic student program. This includes functioning as the primary project lead on academic student program of various activities including trade shows, road show, seminars, special events, and student clubs as assigned. This position requires a detailed, independent thinker that has the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, build consensus, and drive results with limited supervision.
The Marcom Specialist (Academic) is main responsibilities are to developed the academic student program, project-manage using in-depth planning and implementation, monitor student activities execution, and report on the effectiveness of student activities.

Core Accountabilities:
?Develop long term strategic plan to meet student program objectives and metrics
?Develop executable yearly plan for activities, including events, student club, contest, etc.
?Successfully handle promotion and logistics of multiple events simultaneously without compromising attention to detail, deadlines, strict budgets or stakeholder communications
?Analyze the effectiveness of activities use and proactively improve the overall quality of the student program
?Track student activities expenses and report them in a timely manner
?Further develop and optimize student tracking system
?Travel and provide on-site support as needed

Requirements:
?Excellent communication skills, including ability to facilitate communication, build consensus among team members, and make decisions
?Ability to handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under stringent time frames and changing priorities and conditions
?Ability to create well thought-out project plans and lead cross-functional teams
?Creative and innovative approach to work with attention to detail
?Ability to evaluate data and make strategic recommendations
?Ability to function with little supervision, driving projects, reporting results, making recommendations for strategic change
This position requires a bachelor degree in marketing, communications or business administration, 3 to 5 years of MarCom experience. Previous experience in event marketing or a high technology company is a plus.
