General Description for the Position:
1.The candidate should have a solid background and experience in facade design, with basic working knowledge of structural and MEP disciplines.
2.The candidate should have facade consultancy experience, specifically working on high-rise building projects in China.
3.The position requires skills related to managerial and technical abilities. Good business development abilities will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities for the Position:
1.Manage a team of facade engineers and designers to ensure deliverables to client’s quality requirements, on time and within budget.
2.Understand the balance of priorities on differing projects whilst developing successful relationships with other team members.
3.Coordinate and meet with clients, architects and other consultants for ongoing and new projects.
4.Coordination with structural and MEP consultants and other project team members will be an integral part of the candidate’s role.
5.Provide technical input at project level (direct generation of reports, specification and contractors’ submission reviews) and at review level (technical checks of documents produced by other members of the team).
6.Facade design and detailing. Provide advice and lead the team of designers with correct technical guidelines.
7.Factory, mockup and site inspections for ongoing projects. Writing reports for such inspections.
8.Working on computer analysis packages, including Finite Element Analysis. Experience and knowledge of commonly used software packages is an advantage. Examples: Strand7, SAP2000, Microstran.
9.Manage costs and resources both at project level.
10.Prepare monthly project invoices and take responsibility for cash collection.
11.Develop and train facade staff members and provide a forum for them to learn and grow.
12.Ensure compliance with company systems by the candidate in particular and the team in general.
13.Provide support to sales and marketing efforts to expand our existing facade consultancy business in China.
14.Provide technical scope for the bidding of new facade consultancy projects.

6.在幕墙设计和细部处理时，能够带领团队成员按正确的技术规范设计并对团队提供专业的技术指导；
7.对正在进行的项目进行工厂、模型和工地视察，并为这些视察编制报告；
8.能够用计算机软件进行专业计算分析，包括有限元分析等。能够使用一些专业技术软件者尤佳。例如：Strand7, SAP2000, Microstran；
9.对项目进行有效的成本及（人力）资源管理；
10.每月及时跟进项目进度和向业主的收款管理；
11.对幕墙团队成员进行培养和培训，为成员提供一个互动学习平台以供进一步的学习发展之用；
12.严格遵循公司各项运营制度，并且确保部门团队的整体遵守；
13.为中国地区的市场拓展提供技术支持以达到扩展现有幕墙业务的目的；
14.对于新幕墙咨询项目的投标提供技术支持。


Requirements:
1.Degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
2.Minimum 10-15 years facade specific experience, out of which at least 5 years of experience shall be from consultancy background.
3.Experience with exposure to structural and MEP disciplines preferable, but not a must.
4.Fluency in both written and spoken English and Putonghua is a must.

Other information:
1.The position will be based in our Shanghai office, reporting to senior staff in our Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will also have regular contact with Regional Managing Director (RMD) based in our Shanghai office.
2.Due to the responsibilities of this position, occasional travel within China and to Hong Kong will be required to meet with clients for ongoing projects and also to expand the business.
