General description of work assignments:
-Market know-how. Building a strong knowledge of current and expected market conditions and opportunities/risk in Asia
-Partner
choice. Sourcing and securing new and appropriate partners, or phasing
out existing ones in accordance with Company strategy and goals
-Partner
relationship. Optimizing, managing and promoting long-term partners
relationships and accountability, from floor-level to boardroom-level,
involving as many people at both companies as possible depending on
account size vs company size/capacity (Cat A-C)
-Operations and
contracts. Establishing relevant distribution/license agreements, other
official documentation, and operational routines between the companies
in order to facilitate smooth day to day operations at minimum overhead
cost. Make and update contract summary.
-Monitoring. Day to day
operations of both Company and partner request resources/routines
changes upon need in both companies. Making sure that Company and the
partner are fulfilling the contract conditions. This means seeing to it
that notices are given in proper order, prices are increased according
to the contract, samples sending, artwork finalization etc.
-Partner
and end-user needs. Understand partner and end user needs needs/requests
in relation to Company capacity and communicate effectively with-in
company in order facilitate common understandings and market
orientation.
-Product change request, new request handling. Write
business cases in order to request actions within Company together with
product management + facilitate information flow upon need, in relation
to needs and capacity in BioGaia and partner.
-Internal Key Documents and transparency.
a. Sales Report. Responsible for updating + requesting actions + implementing actions accordingly,
b.
Forecasting & budgeting. Follow up on territory budget and have a
good perception of reasons behind deviation (risk + opportunities) and
actions need for recovery or exploitation
c. Other key documents.
Establish and distribute necessary documentation in order to facilitate
transparency on key issues. Statement of work.
-Monitor or manage critical projects. Related to the above upon need - internally and with partner
-Network.
Establish relationship (or facilitate) between colleagues and actors
of importance in territory indirectly related to BioGaia’s current or
future position – ie potential development partners, door-openers, key
opinion leaders
-Know-how sharing. Spread advice, lessons-learned,
create success cases internally within the Sales group to maximize gain
from Asia.
-Translation. Translation of marketing material for leaflets and internet.
-Websites. Managing of local websites content in cooperation with HQ.
-Administration.
Helping colleagues and partner to fix up their visa application
problem; organize entertainment activity for partners from time to time;
hotel and flight tickets booking; Print brochures locally.
-Product
registration. Monitoring and helping partners register the products in
their own regions, in some cases, could be in charge of the registration
process as well.
-Partners supporting: Meet partners in their
regions to understand their business better and make meeting minutes; go
with sales people to meet doctors in their countries to have direct
feedback from front-line; go to partners launching events to give
presentation, sometimes together with Company speakers or colleagues
from research department.
-Competitor information: Collect competitor products to make comparison report and share with partners accordingly.
-Co-budgeting:
Work together with regional manager to make budget at the end of each
year. Be responsible to push partners to achieve the budget accordingly.
