• Create and manage new enterprise storage customer base for Avnet GCC.
• Follow-up all new business opportunities proactively and set up prospective meetings.
• Consistently build relationships with individuals, VARs, Server & storage System builders, to explore new business opportunities.
• Explore new market segments – DMR, Online & offline channel in China
• Engage to win business deals by providing accurate quotes on a timely basis.
• Plan and execute product presentations to S/Is & customers as and when required.
• Work closely with Avnet’s vendors, to develop & execute business development strategies.
• Communicating new product developments, roadmaps to prospective clients, to enhance relationship.
• Overseeing the development of marketing literature from Avnet GCC and its Vendors.
• Use every opportunity with large IT hardware integrators, for sustained long term business relationship.
• Identify new avenues to win customers, by highlighting the advantages of the GCC organisation.

Knowledge and Skill

• Minimum 4-6 year’s Sales, Business Development experience in the Storage/ IT Hardware industry.
• Good English speaking skills.
• Sound IT Hardware literacy and quick learning ability.
• Proven track record of developing new business in IT hardware industry.
• Proven ability to easily interact with Key Decision makers in corporate resellers & System Integrators.
• Ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking, results orientated, problem solver with a positive outlook and a clear focus on driving profit.
• Team player with the desire to succeed in a highly competitive market
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Expertise in the preparation of suitable quotes for corporate procurement.
