· Ford has moved its Asia Pacific Headquarters to Shanghai.
· Ford is expanding its manufacturing alliances in China and growing its Product Engineering activities located in China.
· As a consequence Ford is growing it’s ‘in house’ IT capability in China

We are building an IT team based in Shanghai and Nanjing that will manage our IT Services throughout the Asia Pacific Region as an integral part of our Global IT Organization.

We are looking to recruit individuals who seek a long term career in the management of IT services of a Global Organization.

A vacancy exists for a skilled IT professional to join a small team delivering IT Strategy and Planning activities in support of our Asia Pacific growth plans.

The team works very closely with peers and Senior Managers located around the world, so flexibility of approach and engagement is needed.

Ideally you will have had deep IT experience in two or more of the major business process disciplines (Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales Marketing & Service, Finance etc), and have extensive experience of all of the IT Systems lifecycle phases. However, equally important is sound business experience and great Strategic insight reflecting the fast changing IT environment.

Responsibilies:

1.Build and sustain key Business Partner and IT Peer Relationships to enable Ford to efficiently leverage best-in-class global IT solutions to support Ford's growth objectives.

2.Co-ordinate input from Subject Matter Experts and consolidate analysis for input into Strategy development

3.Develop strong knowledge of Ford IT and Business Processes, incuding those supporting both in-house and Joint-Venture Business operations

4.Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Global workstreams developing new Policy or Strategy

5.Close liaison with Ford IT teams globally on all aspects of the above
