职位描述
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Identify unresolved customer concerns and potential customer concerns in the domestic and relevant export markets for the assigned vehicle line using GCQIS (Ford's Quality Indicator System), part sales information and the Concern Management Team (CMT) process for Quicker Service Fix (QSF)
2. Identify all emerging issues across each Market for Regional consolidation and review in the Concern Alignment Meetings
3. Act as an advisor to the Asia Pacific & Africa Markets, Service Engineering Operations (SEO) Current Model Quality staff, Plant Vehicle Team, Quality Office and other Regional functions on their use of the GCQIS system for the assigned vehicle line
4. Assist the Technical Service Bulletin coordinators and Parts Specialists to ensure the accuracy of information contained in the publications and review technical service messages generated for release
5. Interface with core engineering activities as required to support the product concern resolution efforts as they work to resolve product concerns in support of Plant Vehicle Teams or generic cross-vehicle line issues
6. Support the Technical Hotline and assist with overall technical competence for the assigned vehicle line
7. Maintain a continual dialog with the Subject Matter Experts to ensure that they have the latest technical information regarding service fixes
8. Own the process of writing Regional messages (technical service bulletins and special service messages) for the assigned vehicle line
9. Present service fix information to the markets where applicable
10. Coordinate with the Market SEO Managers for specialized training within the market for the assigned vehicle line
11. Manage information to ensure the right messages are published to address concerns in a timely manner
12. Support the markets use of the Hotline Assistance Requests (HAR), Technical Assistance Requests (TAR) and work with Field Service Engineers (FSE) where applicable for timely concern resolution.
13. Support the markets capacity to locate concern vehicles and parts for Engineering testing and evaluation
14. Facilitate weekly CMT meetings and attend weekly Functional Quality Reviews (FQR), Program Activity Team (PAT) and Program Steering Team (PST) meetings
15. Monitor and track emerging issues and days to closure in line with Global metrics
16. Escalate Critical Concerns that may have been identified following Global Process
17. Assist Engineering with developing and validating cost effective service fixes where appropriate
18. Work with engineering and local Market SEO to utilize the CMT / QSF process to facilitate lower warranty costs and improved customer satisfaction
19. Support the Matched Quint Process with Product Development and the Quality Office
QUALIFICATIONS
It is expected that the successful candidate will hold either a Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (majoring in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive, Aerospace, Manufacturing or similar) or a Trade Certificate (Motor Mechanic). Alternate qualifications or education appropriate to the vehicle industry may be considered.
EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate should have a minimum:
Minimum Expected Time In Current Position: 2 years
3-5 years workplace experience within the motor vehicle manufacture or service industry
Excellent vehicle systems knowledge
Good familiarity with automotive systems and technical publications (eg. Workshop Repair Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Service Bulletins)
Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics methods and practices
Good knowledge of data mining software and process to identify vehicle concerns
Computer literacy and competency with the basic Microsoft Office suite
OTHER COMPLEXITY FACTORS:
Strong focus on Chinese domestic market with ability to support other markets, languages and products across the Asia Pacific region
Technical skill requirement of our products vs. the local market experience / competence
Multiple time zones to facilitate communication with Europe, North America & Asia Pacific
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships and garner support from key stakeholders
