The award winning Business intelligence Competence Center (BICC) is a part of GSS IT and serves both internal and external customers globally through multiple locations (Norway, Netherland, German, Poland and China). Shanghai Business Intelligence team is mainly responsible for design and development of BI solutions.

Job description
- Close co-operation with Business Domain Responsible/Business Analyst in Norway to understand business needs
- Close co-operation with DWH architects to make high level design of the DWH solutions
- Independently make detail design for ETL solutions
- Independently develop ETL solutions and carry out unit testing
- Write system specifications and other documents according to the best practices
- Close co-operation with BI/Cognos developers
- Assist to bug fix/QA as needed
- Actively participate in BI projects
- Proactively identify opportunities or obstacles concerning DWH performance & data quality
- Able to work with multiple tasks and clients simultaneously
- Occasional travelling to Norway is required
- Flexible to adjust working hours in order to have more overlapping time with team members in Norway & Poland

Qualifications
- University degree (Bachelor-degree or equivalent/higher)
- 3+ years work experience in DWH domain
- Quick learner for different domain.
- Good Knowledge of Data warehouse concepts (Dimension, Fact, ETL, Data Mart)
- Excellent Informatica PowerCenter skills
- Excellent SQL programming skills
- Knowledge of Netezza Appliance is a big plus
- Knowledge of database migration is a plus
- Knowledge of Cognos 10 development is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM is a plus
- Experience of working in an international team is a plus
