高级会计师负责各业务领域内的会计过程和结果交付,向其所在团队的会计经理汇报工作。职位每天将与本地和区域财务部门以及美国和当地市场的审计人员团队保持联系,并且应该与所有团队成员建立密切的工作关系。高级会计师应该具有丰富的会计技术知识,并有总分类账方面的工作经验。这一职位可能需要对团队中的一名或多名初级工作人员进行指导。


职责

配合会计经理/助理会计经理完成月度和季度报表的整体编制工作,包括协调所有日常安排,完成对账工作,整理好成套财务报表以供审查。要在一定程度上在亚太区服务中心内部以及向区域团队陈述工作,因此担任这一职位必须要具备较强的沟通技能

计算主观准备金 ,如返回准备金、陈废准备金和呆账备抵

编制财务报表,如损益表,和业务领域内的现金流量表,含注释和所需的后续行动措施

确保团队按月、按季度及时准确地提交所有成套财务报表

识别现有流程中可以实现改进的方面并推动改进的实现,以使提供的服务维持在现有的高标准

了解整个公司的会计政策,恰当运用相关政策

确保遵守萨班斯法案和迪士尼最低控制标准

负责前台和报表系统之间的关键性对账工作

完成和审查资产负债表的对账工作以供经理进一步审查

必要时培训团队中的会计师

为公布的会计条目或得出的结论编制相应的配套文件,或审慎评估其他集团提供的信息,以确保交易项目得到适当的支持。

基本条件


熟练掌握Microsoft Excel

精通韩语和良好的英语

4年总分类账方面的工作经验

熟练使用MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the accounting processes and deliverables for various lines of business, reporting to an accounting manager for their respective team. They will liaise on a day to day basis with local and regional Finance, as well as the controllership teams in the US and local markets, and will be expected to have a strong working relationship with all team members. The Senior Accountant is expected to have strong accounting technical knowledge and prior general ledger accounting experience. There may be opportunity to supervise one or more junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

Working with the Accounting Manager / Assistant Accounting Manager in overall preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts, including coordination of all schedules, reconciliations and reporting packages for review. Some level of presenting within the ASC and to regional teams will be required so strong communication skills are essential

Calculation of subjective provisions such as return reserve, obsolescence reserves, and allowance for bad debt

Preparation of financial reports such as profit and loss statements and LOB cash flow statements with commentary and follow up actions as required

Ensure all reporting packages are submitted accurately and timely by the team on a monthly and quarterly basis

Identify and drive areas of improvement within current processes with the aim of maintaining the current high standard of service provided

Understanding of company-wide accounting policies and apply relevant policies appropriately

Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and Disney Minimum Control Standards

Responsible for key reconciliations between the Front of House, and reporting systems

Completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations for manager review

Provide training to Accountants on the team as necessary

Prepare appropriate supporting documentation for accounting entries posted or conclusions reached or critically evaluate the information supplied by other groups to ensure the transactional entries are properly supported

Basic Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Fluency in Korean and proficiency in English

4 years of general ledger accounting experience

Working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications Qualified CPA or equivalent, candidate must be willing to undertake further training and education with respect to US GAAP

SAP system knowledge

Entertainment and Media experience

Experience in maintaining and monitoring financial controls

Experience managing staff in a multicultural environment

Experience working in a shared services environment

Experience with a multinational employer

Required Education Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related major
