Markets Development Manager, Sustainability – ULE
JOB FUNCTION:
Manages and coordinates strategies for building markets within China for UL Environment’s products. Works on strategies with region leads to generate revenue growth and achieve bookings goals. Assists organization leadership in the development of account strategies, goals, and plans with a focus on driving a foundation for growth for ULE. Focuses on building relationships with key groups, associations and other influential organizations in the sustainability marketplace within China. Works with customers to understand the emerging needs of the organization. Works with other business development team members to target opportunities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages and coordinates strategies designed to drive demand for UL Environment’s products in the region.
2. Works with region leads, global team members and personnel to generate strategies and tactics that will generate revenue growth.
3. Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues, and focuses on sustaining customer satisfaction and loyalty by maintaining a relationship with the customer.
4. Develops and coordinates presentations, debriefings, and proposals to wide variety of groups including government officials, customers, industry groups, environmental non-profits and advocacy, and others as necessary.
5. Identifies high profile opportunities to raise awareness of ULE products within region, including speaking opportunities, research projects, events and other.
6. Establishes new demand drivers in region that lead to measurable and quantifiable business results.
7. Works with regional green building programs to ensure ULE’s products are accurately and fairly recognized in rating schemes, such as 3-Star, to drive revenue growth.
8. Protects ULE from policies, purchasing guidelines, and other guidance being put into place that could negatively impact business in the region.
9. Performs other duties as directed.
Requirement:
? University degree (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) in Business Administration, Sustainability, Marketing or a related discipline plus generally 8 years’ experience in account management.
? Demonstrated ability to develop and establish manage high level relationships with influential organizations, customers and individuals.
? Detailed understanding of the environment business, sustainability marketplace in China and target markets.
? Strong background in working with, and influencing, the Chinese government and related entities.
