Job Description
Job Title: Sales Manager China
Position Location: Shanghai, China
Position Summary:
This Sales Manager is responsible for generating and growing revenue by closing sales in China. The Sales Representative will manage and conduct the dynamics of all activities to sell SCADE products and SCADE Related services to end users primarily via face-to-face contact and is responsible in tight cooperation with Esterel Technologies distributors in his territory.
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
Main Activities
? Performs sales activities for new and renewal business in China in order to grow Esterel Technologies business in that geography according to booking targets, in compliance to the defined Company Sales Process.
? Grow the revenue with existing accounts in Aerospace & Defense, Rail Transportation, Nuclear energy, by further deploying Esterel Technologies products
? Contacts and visits prospective customers in Aerospace & Defense, Rail Transportation, Nuclear energy to determine needs.
? Triggers and manages evaluations and technical activities with existing local Technical Experts, in order to win new customers
? Creates and performs sales presentations on company's products/services.
? Promote products/services through face-to-face contact.
? Remains knowledgeable of company's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
? Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
? Work tightly with Esterel Technologies distributors in the territory.
Additional Activities
? Maintains regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
? Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits.
? Attend, and sometimes organize, seminars and tradeshows
? Alerts client to new or improved products/services.
? Develops close relationships with clients.
? Contributes to the sales plans and strategies.
? Works with management to identify up sell opportunities and maximize revenues.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences or related field from four-year University.
? Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling complex software solutions for the software embedded users within the Aerospace & Defense industry, Railway or Heavy industry.
? Strong emphasis on complex and long sales cycles.
? Fluent speaking and writing English
