Role synopsis •Oversee all activities in packaging operation, transportation within site fence, & emergency response sections of the Zhuhai PTA plant, with annual product 1.7M tons, to achieve Plant and Business Unit objectives.

•Manage the Packaging out-sourcing contractors’ (over 130 headcounts) performance and interface with operation, maintenance, procurement, logistics & CSRs/ sales, etc. Ensure customer satisfaction within a safe work environment and in most cost effective way.

•Develop packaging/warehousing strategy/tactics for achieving safe operation, cost effectiveness and management.

Key accountabilities •Act as BP representative to manage service providers’ performance and integrated management related matters when required.

•Run the product packaging/warehousing operations and develop strategy/tactics for the packaging/warehousing development, targeting to effectiveness in cost and management.

•Meet or exceed customer requirement and satisfaction and to eliminate/minimize customer complaints.

•Providing input to site procurement in contract negotiations associated with packaging out-sourcing contractor, bag suppliers & other facilities, etc.

•Provide leadership/coaching to service providers, especially the packaging out-sourcing contractors,

•Forecast, monitor and control (Cash Fixed Cost) CFC and variable cost of packaging materials and labor cost.

•Assist line manager in procedure and process development.

•Strive for any opportunities for improvement and optimization base on his/her knowledge, experience and lessons learned.

•Drive for HSSE performance and integrated management compliance

To manage all service contractors to be safety champion and achieve all safety & operational performance indexes in the product distribution and raw material supply.

To actively participate in HSSE review.

To strictly follow MOC and actively participate/lead risk assessment

To actively share learning of any potential HSE issues within the team

To work with Logistics HSSE manager and safety staff to reduce the likelihood of future accidents

Essential Education College or university degree, majored in industrial field or equivalent.

Essential experience and job requirements Minimum 5 years of work experience

Understand Supply chain process and operation

The job holder should have work experiences in packaging and warehouse or logistics and distribution or manufacturing roles

Ability to make difficult decisions, and deal with potential conflicts of interest, and challenge senior management.

Strong networking and relationship-building skills, for both internal as well as external relationships.

Supervisory experience required.

Others

Mandarin speaking is essential.

Good English language skills in reading, writing and conversation are required.

Computer skills, such as Microsoft office are required.
