Responsibilities and tasks
? Promote HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and ethical behaviour in procurement to align with group ‘Values’
? Ensure compliance with Employer’s procurement policies and procedures and relevant statutory regulations on project procurement execution
? Set up and manage the operation of the Material Management System
? Material receipt control: arrange opening, checking against relevant documents and report over, short, damaged and non-conforming deliveries
? Responsible for correct and safe storage of different types of equipment and materials, security of warehouse and storage compounds
? Supervise storekeepers for the handling of equipment and materials including inter site movements
? Issue materials on site based on site construction requests
? Maintain material identification and traceability by marking or tagging, the upkeep of material related files
? Identify surplus/scrap materials as a result of a design change, dispose surplus/scrap materials with Construction Management approval or agreements
? Reporting on daily, weekly, monthly as required by material control procedure of specific projects
? Managing interface with logistics and construction


Qualification and competence requirements
? University degree or professional education
? Minimum 5 years’ relevant experiences on EPC projects, experiences in working for similar companies to Kvaerner is an advantage
? Fluent in written and spoken English
? Communication and presentation skills
? High integrity and ethical values
? A team player willing to take challenges on international projects
? Team-working, problem solving & focusing on results
? Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
? Ability to work effectively on your own or in a team
? Attention to detail
