Position Overview:
National Instruments is seeking a business analyst to support the internal business systems and processes. The Business Analyst's primary role is to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, and to serve as a primary liaison between business areas and the information technology team.

The successful analyst understands business needs, analyzes current and future business processes, fills gaps between business and information system, makes suggestions for continuous improvement, articulates requirements and works with various groups to produce the best solutions to support the business needs. Working with both business areas and development team, the BA will work on the full development life cycle from project initiation through implementation and post-support.

Responsibilities Include:

1.Identify, Analyze and Prioritize business requirements
2.Propose and Define solutions to meet business requirements
3.Document business requirements and process flows, work with business units to optimize processes, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
4.Develop and document specifications for system enhancements
5.Develop test plans and test cases, perform functional, integration and user acceptance testing
6.Develop training plan and training documentations, perform user training
7.Provide supports to business operations utilize information system
8.General project management to balance project resource, timeline, and scope
9.Perform related duties as assigned

Position Requirements

1.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

3.Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across different working groups

4.Excellent documentation skills

5.Self-motivated, solution-driven

6.Proficiency in both written and spoken English

7.1 year as a Business Analyst or equivalent required

8.Degree in MIS or Business with concentration on Information Technology, or comparable technical discipline is a plus
