Product Engineering Manager/产品工程经理
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead & perform in engineering activities including tooling debug, scheduling, cost control and vendor management to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of project;
2. Liaise with vendors on product related issues. Evaluate the project engineering performance and provide technical support;
3. Supervise and manage all project engineering processes from prototyping to production;
4. Communicate and resolve all product, quality and performance issues between factories, vendors and the product development team;
5. Coordinate testing of parts and completed units to determine their reliability and safety. Recommend any necessary changes and manage the implementation of the changes;
6. Review sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and prototypes from vendors and internal sources to determine feasibility, reliability and safety of the product;
7. Manage new product timelines and ensure that vendors are on-track to meet committed ship dates;
8. Work with project manager in the development of product in regards to safety and reliability;
9. Create product drawings, designs and sketches using a variety of media for internal and external communication and review;
10. Review new vendor facilities as required. Work with QA personnel to resolve any issues that arise during production. Assist vendor partners in developing engineering？ & production capabilities when needed;
11. Evaluate the product management or engineering performance. Follow up and monitor the product management or engineering issues with vendors. Provide technical support to vendors for smooth operation;
12. Conduct sewing standard & material yield auditing in regular basis.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree and majored in Engineering is preferred, minimum five plus years of appropriate technical experience and demonstrated competence in a manufacturing environment, ability and desire to remain knowledgeable and current in manufacturing, materials, and finishes;
2. Experience in Mechanical products,such as consumer products, electrical appliances, or power tools. Also, experience of designing products and can review 3D & 2D mechanical drawings;
3. Ability to develop and apply advanced engineering theories, methods, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems;
4. Working knowledge of modern manufacturing and design tools, for example: Process Capability Studies, Six Sigma Practices, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and Quality Functional Deployment;
5. Management skills must include scheduling, budget management, business analysis, and team building as well as frequent technical contributions;
6. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Candidate must be able to professionally present technical presentations internally and externally to Cross;
7. Excellent in both read and written English.
