APAC R&D Packaging Manager/亚太区包装研发经理（Global Top Famous FMCG Company）

Our client is one of biggest international company in FMCG industry. Due to business expansion and outstanding talents' further development, here comes the hiring needs.

Main Accountabilities:

Responsible for the packaging development from the concept to the development and implementation phase;

Maintaining good knowledge of emerging packaging trends, innovations to ensure a constant flow of new ideas to secure competitive advantage, through developing strong links with suppliers & Academia;

Continually review and optimist the deployment of Packaging resources for efficiency and critical mass. Identify supply/demand gaps between resource and program, and where necessary, escalate for resolution;

To anticipate need for new equipments / other Development expenditures required to deliver various project activities and accordingly build proposals for capital and overhead budgets;

Inspire a culture to win in the marketplace. Take ownership and action of GPS results to improve climate and organizational effectiveness. Build a culture that will allow and encourage individuals to reach their full potential in line with business needs;

Collaborate with cross functional innovation teams (Marketing, R&D, Consumer Insights & Manufacturing) to drive packaging innovation;

Work with cross functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Consumer Insights & Manufacturing) to ensure packaging is developed with clear business driven priorities;

To represent packaging and the category at various Leadership Teams and networks-Regional Category R&D Team, Regional Packaging network, Global Category Packaging network;

To maintain and apply knowledge of appropriate legislation pertaining to packaging [eg. Packaging Commodity Order & Standards of Weights & Measures Act) & ensure compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum BS degree in packaging related discipline. M.S or Ph.D. is preferred;

Minimum 8 years work experience in packaging development in consumer healthcare, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industry;

Proven track records in developing innovative packaging and implementing from ideation to commercialization;

Hands-on working knowledge of CAD (preferably Solid Works) from concept design to production;

Knowledge of packaging manufacture equipment and operation process;

Good communication and technical writing skills, excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin;

Advanced attentions to detail, ability to work globally across a matrix organization, good team player, demonstrated project leadership skills;

Experience with working in international companies or interaction with global customers is preferred.
