职位描述
Sales director is a senior management role that is primarily responsible to lead a team for developing and expanding business & achieve sales budget on yearly basis.
Key Accountabilities:
Developing sales strategies, objectives and tactical plans for sales team based on client needs & market situation, and aligned them with business objectives
Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales budget
Building and maintaining good relationships with key clients of UTi
Continually hire talents and retain talents
Provide training and identify training needed for the team
Coach and develop team members, allocate resources and workload among team members
Align with vertical/trade lane/CL & D team to ensure providing total solution to UTi global & local clients
Leverage company resources (solution experts, industry experts, operations, executive support) to assist in developing new business in this region
Measure and improve the performance of sales member
Develop new products and solutions with product team

· Work with UTi across the globe to create custom solutions that deliver value to customers
· Understand the buying process and identify all influences and influencers
· Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with key decision makers at all levels within the account
· Understand client’s business (strategically, operationally, financially)
· Assist the DCS / DAS to qualify and quantify potential growth opportunities
· Maintain an open dialogue with the account executive to leverage company resources (solution experts, industry experts, operations, executive support) to assist in developing account
· Help maximize cross-selling by providing strategic input to assist related accounts
· Assist in the communication of account development plans and status to management
· Provide timely and accurate revenue and profitability forecasts
· Participate in the development of corporate business plans
· Participate in the organization of customer forums and related events
· Develop knowledge of leading practices and new ideas with the DCS /DAS and the client’s executive team
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
Strong personal characteristics, energy, drive, focus, motivation, responsibility.
Great Sales skills and the ability to follow through on leads
Self-motivated and ability to use own initiative, with the ability to work without supervision.
Well-developed time management skills - ability to work to deadlines and with timetables. Multitasking is essential.
Project management of initiatives where required.
The ability to seek opportunities for synergy and integration
Business acumen – analyzing financial information, dealing with complexity, problem solving and using sound judgment.
Identifying critical operational or other issues and recommending solutions
Ability to continuously review / refine processes to achieve the optimal solution
Basic Minimum Requirements
Degree qualified
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Depending on location this position will require both domestic and internal travel
At least 10 years’ experience
Strong desire to succeed
Intermediate level Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet skills as well as previous experience using Sales Force Automation and Knowledge Management tools
