主要工作职责：

1. 负责管理亲本种子（30%）

· 管理铁岭研究站的亲本种子，包括种子的贮存和运输

· 负责亲本种子检测

· 收集、记录、分析亲本种子的试验数据

· 负责亲本种子授粉及田间管理



2. 学习并引进新的玉米育种技术到铁岭研究站（30%）

· 与分子技术团队合作，引入新的育种方法

· 与研发信息管理团队合作，充分运用新工具，提高铁岭育种项目的效率

· 分析数据，与先锋生产团队等相关部门分享



3. ISO田间管理及数据收集（30%）

· 负责田间播种及田间管理

· 负责公司内不同部门间及公司外的部分沟通工作



4. 核心价值观及安全管理（10%）

· 保持日常工作的安全，及种质资源的安全

· 负责铁岭研究站的安全管理及ISO田间质量管理




教育资质和经验要求：

· 硕士及以上学历，农学、作物育种或遗传学专业

· 至少3年育种或农业工作经验

· 有玉米育种或遗传学经验者优先考虑

· 流利的英文书写和沟通能力

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Take leadership on management of parent seeds (30%):

· Manage the Parent seeds in Tieling Station including the seeds storage and shipping

· Take leadership on parent test

· Collect traits data of parent seeds, Record and analyze parent data;

· Pollination and field management of parent seeds



2. Learning and introducing new corn breeding technologies into Tieling Station (30%):

· Working with MB support to use new technology in Tieling breeding

· Working with RIM support to fully use new tools for Tieling breeding

· Analyze data and share with Pioneer product delivery team, and counterparts of Pioneer JV and the partners



3. ISO field management and data collection (30%):

· Planting (by hand or by planter) and field management

· Some communication work with different departments internally and external company



4. Core value and safety (10%):

· Keep daily work and germplasm safe

· Take leadership for safety in ISO field


Educational qualifications and Experience

· MS degree or above in agronomy, or plant breeding with the background and/or research work on plant breeding and/or genetics

· Experience in maize breeding or genetics is preferred, 3 years working experience in breeding and agricultural industry

· Fluent written and oral English communication skills;

The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont have announced their intent to combine in an all-stock merger of equals. The merger is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2017 and the new company will be named DowDuPont. Within 18-24 months of the merger, DowDuPont intends to spinoff entities resulting in three separate and independent publicly traded companies, subject to regulatory and board approval.
