Department Overview
Symantec's Sales Organization offers enterprise customers more than 200 solutions within its security, storage and systems management software portfolios. These solutions are delivered to customers through multiple sales channels, including Direct B2B, Value-Added Resellers and Strategic Partnerships. Responsibilities
· Responsible for meeting or exceeding departmental goals.
· Responsible for following up on all renewals opportunities to uncover sales opportunity.
· Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records of all prospecting activity in the contact management database.
· Responsible for coordinating product support contacts for prospects while evaluating technology.
· Responsible for reporting to management daily or weekly activity in a standard preset format and for maintaining a closed loop process with Management on activities generated.
· Responsible for forecasting all opportunities.
· Exemplary communication skills, coaching skills, and good business judgment.
· Business Intelligence/Reporting Tools/Data Warehousing/Financial Applications/Training
· -Well English skill in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Qualifications
· Demonstrable experience of working in a dynamic and under pressure environment.
· Excellent computer skills (MS Applications Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Basic IT network knowledge, preferred network security.
· Preferred telesales or telemarketing background, not compulsory.
· Great personality and attention to detail.
· Ability to sell complex solution to end user over the phone.
· 3 years work experience is a must. And at least 2 years experience or above in IT sales.
· Good tracking record & achieve assigned target or quota.
· Highly self-organized with good work attitude.
· Strong willingness to learn and work with minimum supervision .
· Excellent Communication Skills and Interpersonal Skill.
· Strong Team Player.
· Excellent problems solving skills and resolve conflict.
