Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment. Analyzes reports and returned products, and recommends corrective action. Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems. Typically requires 5 - 8 years experience and a BS degree or equivalent experience in product planning and thorough knowledge of inspection methods in the design, fabrication, and production of electronic equipment.
