This position will develop hardware systems for test and measurement instruments and will focus on FPGA design. You will also be responsible for electronic hardware design (including schematic capture), development and verification, as well as electronic hardware maintenance, including solving electronics related problems in operational systems.


Qualification:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of hands-on hardware design engineering experience with FPGA/ASIC expertise; previous project management experience is a plus
Familiar with VHDL or Verilog-HDL, simulations, synthesis, FPGA
Familiar with high-speed design methodologies
Experience with lab instruments, including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
Familiar with Unix/Linux system, shell or script programming
Preferred skills: closed-loop programming, real-time operating systems, DSP design, version control, part and component evaluation and selection, embedded systems, state machines, and a variety of 3rd party firmware tools
Good communication skills and strong problem solving abilities
