-For our Industry Sector in SHANGHAI,we are looking for a Logistics Manager.

What are my responsibilities?

-Responsible for job assignment within the department, coordination of tasks, overall coaching and guiding to fulfill all tasks and responsibilities assigned to Logistics department;

-Responsible for personnel development, PMP, definition of goals & targets, training and load planning of department staff;

-Ensure overall quality of the work within the department and compliance of logistics;

-Draw up logistic management systems, daily operation procedure and plan to implement, monitor and ensure its implementation in daily operation in line with company rules and standards;

-Participate in logistic supplier management on transportation and other relevant service company selection, evaluation for their quality, delivery and price to ensure establishing an optimum logistic supply chain.

-Coordinate selection of suppliers, freight forwarders and custom's brokers with Siemens standard/ frame agreements and compliance requirements;

-Effectively follow up and monitor the process of packing and transportation for goods which need delivery, ensure goods to be transported to destination in time, in safe and at good condition;

-Execute the other task arranged by the SCM manager and/ or CFO;

-Have a close cooperation with schedule dept., production dept.,procurement dept., project dept.,quality dept., financial dept. and other relevant dept. to optimize company's operating procedure and working efficiency;

-Supporting bid preparation by providing newest and most competitive market prices for logistics and custom's clearance for all project tenders;

-Supervise communication with internal and external contacts for shipment handling, shipping scope, shipment booking, documents preparation, shipping scheduling, and shipping records;

-Ensure that shipping documents (invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, B/L and so on) match the requirements of the customers, so that the contract & L/C can be fulfilled exactly;

-Support in the handling of bonded warehouse and supervise fulfilment of all requirements in the im- and export business including handling of free issue parts, temporary im- and export, bonded/ free trade zone shipments etc;

What do I need to qualify for this job?

-minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in variousSCM functions as well as cross-functional experience;

-2-3 years of experience in project execution, sales and/ or proposal;

-Leadership experience is required and experience in working in international teams is needed;

-Professional expertise in import and export business, logistics and packing;

-Technical knowledge and knowledge of the metal industry;

-Knowledge of Contract Law and relevant regulation and logistic operation procedure;
