职位描述
Main Responsibility:
Drive market, category, brand and consumer understanding and insights generation:
- Lead and align the insights planning program with CMI director and Head of relevant GBU in Asia.
- Implement the projects within the program on-time-in-full, using appropriate decision-making and approval processes in a timely manner.
- Engage business partners in preparing and refining Statement of Work (SOW) that matters.
- Select and pitch for the most proper research agency with best research design, execution and reporting.
- Sustain very high visibility in sharing of research-based insights and actionable recommendations to GBU Heads (SVP/VP/Directors).
- fCreate compelling learning sessions to bring all relevant teams within the organization onto the same page to enable the actions.
Oversee innovation researches and act as key gate-keeper in brand innovation funnel:
- Lead and plan innovation researches from SOW to recommendations that fit both global strategy and local complexity (possible researches include Ideation, Idea Screener, Concept test, Preview, Packaging test and Full Mix test).
- Participate and facilitate global innovation researches where Asia as roll-out market, enabling two-way communication and local optimization.
Understand performance and drivers of brand success via excellent analyzing and integration:
- Integrated business review (market/brand/consumer behaviors) to support marketing/sales tactics on regular basis (quarterly/annually).
- Track and validate key in-market campaign effectiveness for optimization.
Big data consolidation - Social Network, consumer & Market trends:
- Identify best practices, and generating discussion about applicable learning for daily business.
- Provide actionable insights for innovation pipeline proposal.
Qualifications
- Four-year accredited university/college degree.
- 4-5 Years in CMI and (or) Marketing research
- Experience in China
- Demonstrated an understanding of differences between countries and cultures, and has built that understanding into plans.
- Experience in serving multiple business partners at senior level.
- Has an understanding with proven success of how brands are built over time, their articulation in positioning terms and manifestation into successful mixes
- Demonstrated ability to successfully build consumer insight and understanding into strategies, new products, and plans.
- Has successfully launched several new products from concept stage through commercialization and in-market success.
