Microsoft is betting a new Natural Language Processing team in Beijing. You will be one of the first pioneers to make your impact, on the quality of our online products like Search, Ads, Bing Dictionary, speech and text understanding platform. You will have the chance to interview and hire your best developers. We work with Microsoft Research Center closely and attend major international conferences to keep ourselves on top of the cutting edge. You will be not only developing and improving products, but also incorporating proven techniques and inventing new techniques in machine translation, speech recognition, conversation understanding and information retrieval. Your main responsibility will be including but not limited to

- Lead a team of scientists and developers.
- Apply or invent technologies for language expansion.
- Apply or invent technologies for domain adaptation.
- Improve and/or implement reliable and scalable training infrastructures for training machine translation models, acoustic models, language models, and dialog models.

We are looking for motivated and energetic engineers and scientists with strong background in one or more of the following areas

- Natural language processing and generation,
- Machine learning (neural network, CRF, SVM, HMM, etc.),
- Conversation Understanding,
- Dialog modeling,
- Domain adaptation,
- Machine translation

Additional qualifications include

- MSc or PhD in CS or EE
- Minimum of 8 year experiences working in the related domain
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to program in scripting, C++ or C# programming language with excellent architecture, design, coding, and debugging skills.
