Job Title Telesales/Internet Sales Manager
Organization Name Oracle Linux & Oracle VM Support Sales Department Description
This team is responsible for selling Oracle Linux & Oracle VM support services.
Brief Posting Description Order fulfillment and selling of products and services in high volume, low value, short cycle transactions using telephone sales.
Detailed Description Manages a team of telesales representatives for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic regional plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with frequent guidance from the area manager or director. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.

Job Requirements Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Working knowledge of telesales job. Through understanding of Oracle*s products and services. Ability to lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability. Degree in Business or Computer Science 5 years sales or sales management experience.

Additional Details
Sales Manager is responsible for leading the Oracle Linux & Oracle VM Support sales organization in designated regions
This is a critical leadership role with strategic importance for the region's support sales/execution.

Key responsibilities:

Achieve quarterly & Yearly revenue target
Ensure Full Headcount
Define and execute strategies to expand support sales footprint(thru product specialization, depth) and extending customer reach (thru territory coverage, breadth)
Lead a team of reps, and build effective collaboration within the broader regional matrix (Named , GB, Tech/Apps, Pre Sales, product mgt, A&C, Services)
Build and manage indirect product sales pipeline and forecast
This position requires resourcefulness, tact, and excellent Oracle product & process knowledge.
Brief Description
Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle*s opportunities across all products and product lines.
Job Requirements

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Minimum eight or more years of sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
