R&D is engaged in research and development directed towards developing a process, material or product that can deliver potential benefits to the Esquel Group and the textile/garment industry at large. This activity is often driven by market needs- current or expected, relayed from sales and merchandizing. Customers also set the R&D agenda. Every innovative idea is discussed with them and research begins. Naturally the end product receives instant recognition. The research outputs are knowledge and potential tools for the creation of wealth for the group.

1.Master degree in Textile Engineering or Textile Chemistry

2.3 years working experience in textile industry

3.Good English in writing and speaking, management skill in communicating, problem solving

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Assisting R&D director in selecting potential proposals for academic collaborations
2.Working closely with collaborative prof. to track project progress for on-time completion
3.Organize on-site quarterly advisory meetings with collaborators
4.Facilitate in organizing collaborative mill trials, Esquel visit, seminars, and workshops
5.Analyze and evaluate collaborative projects for internal reference
6.A periodically brief collaborative project progress to management
